How much do custom cakes cost in Los Angeles?
Custom cakes at Sweet Angeles start at $95 for a 6" single-tier (serves 8–10) and $125 for an 8" (serves 15–20). Sculpted and themed designs start around $165, two-tier cakes at $275, and tiered wedding or event cakes are quoted individually. Your exact price depends on servings, design detail, and delivery — and you'll always see the full written quote before paying anything.
How far in advance should I order a custom cake?
We need a minimum of 2 days so every cake is baked fresh. For detailed or sculpted designs, order 4–7 days ahead; for tiered wedding cakes, 2–4 weeks is ideal. Have a rush event? Call us — we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Are your cakes really made to order?
Yes — nothing at Sweet Angeles is pre-made or frozen. Your cake is baked after you order it, in your size and flavor, and decorated to your design. That's true for every cake we sell, custom or from our gallery.
Can you recreate a cake from a photo I found online?
Usually, yes. Attach your inspiration photo to the quote form and our designer will tell you what we can recreate exactly, what we'd adapt, and what it costs. You approve the final design before we bake.
Can you print a photo on my cake?
Absolutely — we make custom photo cakes with your picture, logo, or message printed on edible sugar paper. It's one of our most popular birthday and corporate requests.
What flavors can I choose for my custom cake?
Any of our 16 handcrafted flavors and fillings — including Vanilla Tres Leches, Chocolate Mousse, Red Velvet Cream Cheese, Coconut Cream Cheese, and Salted Caramel. Any design can be made in any flavor.
